"World of Warcraft", created by Blizzard Entertainment, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that has been loved by gamers all over the world for more than a decade.
Valeera Sanguinar, the Uncrowned Shadow. A blood elf that takes pride in the traditions of her kind, loyally defending them. She does not belong to the Quel'thalas, the Alliance nor the Horde, but is loyal to Varian and his son. Valeera is loyal to her friends and her ideals,
and is both a powerful gladiator and rogue. Countless enemies have fallen due to her poison dagger, leaving no room for betrayal. More than a decade since the first of DC Unlimited's "World of Warcraft" series, the popular Valeera Sanguinar has been brought to life once again in three-dimensional form, this time in even more detail.
The sculpting of the statue was based on "World of Warcraft" 8.2.5, corrected and adjusted repeatedly in order to recreate the realistic CG-like appearance of the character as faithfully as possible. The statue is the perfect representation of both a blood elf's charm as well as the danger and mystery of an assassin.
Design
Head Sculpting
High-temperature hair transplant techniques have been used to recreate her bangs and ponytail. The green glow of her eyes reflect her infection by fel magic. Valeera's characteristic deep green eyes have been recreated using prosthetic eyes, fitted into the head sculpt that makes use of silicone for the skin.
Base
The base contains a hidden Easter eggーan Axe of Durotan, symbolizing Valeera's past in the orc arena of Durotar. The Uncrowned banner, which represents Valeera's identity, is made of real fabric.
Skin
Valeera's skin has been made with silicone to faithfully replicate her beautiful skin and physique. The body and torso are made of silicone to ensure consistency of texture. Areas with exposed skin have also been made with silicone for a realistic texture and feel.
Armor
Valeera Sanguinar's armor has been carefully and faithfully reproduced to the smallest details. Polystones and transparent acrylic gems are used to mimic the texture of the CG animation. The statue is accompanied by two vivid green daggers, highlighting Valeera's aggressiveness.
Materials
Medical-grade platinum silicone was chosen for its colorless and odorless properties. It is also non-oily and resistant to high temperatures and aging, making it suitable for long-term display. Hair transplant technology has been used for the statue's hair, resulting in a natural hair color. Each statue uses over 100,000 strands of heat-resistant filament to faithfully recreate Valeera's hair. The custom prosthetic eyes give off a green glow, giving Valeera a mystical gaze.
